140kit is a service geared toward internet/social researchers that helps automate the process of collecting and analyzing Twitter data.

140kit was released as part of the Web Ecology Project. The codebase is open-source, here. Devin Gaffney and I, with help from Max Darham and Max Nanis, have been developing/maintaining 140kit since the the summer of 2009.
